The City, the Ellsworth Police Department and Ellsworth Fire Department are maintaining and regularly updating a presence on Facebook. If you are a Facebook user please take the time to search for our departments and join their pages. All three use their pages to post important information from looking for help in identifying a suspect in a crime to whether or not burn permits will be issued on a particular day. Be sure to join their pages!
The City of Ellsworth maintains Local Access Channel 7 for Time Warner Cable customers in the city. If your organization has an event that you would like promoted please call or e-mail. A slide can be created for you or if you wish you can design your own PowerPoint slide and submit it via e-mail or deliver it on a CD. Also be sure to tune in to watch our City Council and Planning Board meetings live. For those who don’t have Time Warner service, City Council and Planning Board meetings are streamed live to our web site. Anyone with high speed internet access anywhere in the world can watch these meetings.
